When I opened my blinds this morning just as I was about to leave for work, I saw the sunlight lighting up these leaves while the background was still in shadow. Of course that just made me want to skip work and spend the day taking pictures.

Last night I walked through the woods to Lake Padden to take pictures of the night sky. The walk was incredibly creepy but it was still a fun trip.
