Some unimportant Ruben(TM) stories got strangely connected

Really unimportant and probably boring... read @ ur own risk

    The Mini-SD Card

I had a 4gb Mini-SD card. One day me and my girlfriend took the kid to the zoo to try out the zip-lines. The card on my camera was full so I swap it for the Mini-SD with an adapter.

Later, back @ home, my girlfriend wanted to try out some music on her new smart phone. I loaded some soundtracks on the Mini-SD card and put it on the phone.

Later that night my girlfriend noticed the music & photos where not accessible anymore. I took a look at it and found that I had fail to close the Mini-SD slot properly and the card fell out. We look all around the house for that card because it had the pictures on it, but we never found it.

Months went by, we moved to a new place and I forgot about the card.

    The new DVD drive

Few months at the new place we were trying to install a game in the computer and noticed the CD/DVD drive was not working. I quickly went to the nearby PC joint and got a new CD/DVD burner, sata, for ~$20 bucks. It worked like a charm.

    The New PC

Few months later (actually, last week I believe) I'm putting together a new computer. One thing I didn't bought was a CD/DVD drive. The one I bought for the old PC was only like a month old and I could install it on the new PC.

I took the drive out of the old PC and noticed a rattling sound. "Something broke already" I thought, thinking I really got the cheapest drive ever. For $20 bucks, I was going to trow it away and get a new one, but I was curious about this rattling sound on this new drive so I opened it before discarding it.

    The connection....

To my surprise, there was a Mini-SD card inside the DVD drive. I plug it into the computer and guess what? The zoo day pictures and the music! WTF?!

That card was lost like 6 months ago on a different house. It now appears inside a DVD drive that I bought 2 months ago after moving to our new house? Weird.

My response would have been something along the lines of: "Does your bike have computer controlled suspension? Then shut your piehole, this baby is from the future!"

I blame Satan. "El Diablo te esconde las cosas!" ;0)
You see, their morals, their code...it's a bad joke, dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these...These "civilized" people...they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve

You know, they were probably trying to help, in their own way.

    Definitely the kids.

We used to blame things going missing on the cat when I was a kid....until I was visiting a "friend's" house and spotted all of our missing stuff in his closet on the floor. He said he just happened to own all the same stuff we had go missing around the same time...hmmm....

Oh sure, blame the kids. I just want to know how many times you got inebriated in that six months.
