    Yeah, I knew it. There are actually three documented veterans of the First World War still alive, not just one:
    List of surviving veterans of World War I.

    Though that number probably won't stay the same very long.
    The pleasure is momentary, the position ridiculous, and the expense damnable.

    Either my seeing isn't so good anymore, or I'll be darned if I can see what you're referring to in the title. Looks like "Happy Birthday Frank Buckles - Last Living WWI Veteran" to me, which, not meaning to be pedantic or anything, I knew off the top of my head to not be true. There are actually three left.

    People do seem to have a long life span in West-By-God.

    Among states, WV had the 3rd oldest mean age and the 5th shortest lifespan
