It's the water falling from the roof drain during the rain. Nothing special done to it except some brightness, sharpens, and a small touch of soft glow. It was a close shot to the water with the flash light reflected from it. I don't know if that big circle is a lens flare from the brightest drop or a drop very close to the lens.

Night is something that can be falling, right? Or do I have that idiom all screwed up. Sorry if I've taken someone else's theme, my work blocks most pic sharing sites, so I'll have to see what others have posted when I get home tonight. Thought about posting a great falling snow picture I got recently, but it made me too sad. Maybe if you do the same theme come August, I'll be ready to look at it again.

Yes, nightfall is a great interpretation of the theme.

Think this is pretty self explantory. I suppose I should convert it to black and white to be "artistic"

Nice!

I'm guessing the "Middle Falls" @ Letchworth? My entry is from Wolf Creek just a few miles downstream! What a pleasant coincidence to have two entries from within the same park and just a few miles from each other.

Your guess would be 100% correct I didn't even recognize the falls in your picture!

We went this fall, and well it was a rather dreary day, even for a DSLR. The girlfriend and I happened to be at Middle Falls when the sun poked through, and I snapped a few quick rainbow pics. I had forgot the tripod at home, so most of my pictures that day were not what I normally expect. I prefer 1/2 second shutter speeds, which without a tripod is not possible.

I thought I had a double rainbow picture from that day...maybe not.
