Most likely a courthouse, or other government building.

Must have been deleted. The link doesn't work for me, just takes me to the Kit Kat page.

Go here, look for "kit kat TV" link at lower right:
http://www.hersheys.com/kitkat.aspx
It's not in my town. Thought it looked familiar, but that's because it resembles the US Treasury on the back of the $10 bill, but it's not it.

Well, I don't feel so ignorant now. I spent a little time searching, no luck. Posted this on another unrelated forum, no luck. I figured someone would pop up and say, "Why you ignorant, everyone knows that's the XYZ building in New York City!" But so far, not a single guess, even.

Looks pretty non-descript. Could be just about any courthouse / semi-fancy traditional government building .

Try posting on http://answers.yahoo.com/

Brooklyn Borough Hall!

I posted this on an engineering forum, and somebody identified it. Googling "Courthouse" pics didn't turn it up because "court" and "house" are not part of the name.

Wow, awesome footwork Stephen!! But it looks as though the OP deleted his original post. I guess he's not interested anymore. Oh well. Thanks anyway

Well, maybe somebody somewhere will be googling the mystery building in the Kit Kat commercial five years from now, and this thread will still be here for them...
