Be careful, that spring appears to have a sharp edge

Cut the top off the blanket and sew it on the bottom so it will be longer. Damn foolishness. If you want to get up earlier, just do it! Leave the clocks alone.

Especially that. If you don't reset the clocks in the smoke detectors then they will go off an hour after the fire starts. (Or is it an hour before the fire starts, I can't remember.)

ok wait, so, my club has been doing all it's rides at 10:00am on sundays. and someone changed it to 9 for tomorrow saying "9:00 (the old 10)".

But, um, isn't 9 the old 8? I'm so confuuuuuzzzzeddd!!!!

TexasGuy 03-12-11 11:13 PM

Just wake up at the same time you normally would and go to work, or wherever you have to go. And if nobody is there you arrived an hour early. Wait an hour. You'll be on time.

valygrl 03-12-11 11:15 PM

are you sure you won't be an hour late?

Hmmmm. That's an interesting proposition.

Sixty Fiver 03-12-11 11:36 PM

I hate the time change... my days were just right as they were.

oban_kobi 03-12-11 11:39 PM

Same here. I don't know why we keep perpetuating such a silly thing. I was looking forward to the sun rising earlier.

Wordbiker 03-12-11 11:51 PM

When I set my alarm clock five minutes fast, as soon as it goes off I know there's another five minutes to sleep.

And he awoke, 3 hours later. :p

It kicks butt when you are working during the time change. I get paid an hour of OT for an hour I didn't work and get to go home earlier. WHOOOO HOOOOO!!

Actually No. They pay us for 13 hrs in the fall. So its still good. We have five crews so it's hit or miss if you get the good end of the deal or not. But this time it was my turn.

Sweet deal!
