Rescued Kitten All Grown Up-And Now Gainfully Employed As A Fashion Model!

For those of you who read my old posts on the tiny rescued kitten I found a couple of years ago. Here is an update....

The kitten is now a yearling cat. He seems to lost that beautiful brown color that he had as a little one. But he is still a strapping boy. He now "earns" a living as a model and tester for my fashion accessories on "The Bicycle Hobo" commercial side of the World Of Folding Bicycles. Do visit him while he is hard at work online (right now he is sleeping very comfortably on that throw cover sewing pattern I featured as a freebie for just stopping by). Whatever you are thinking right now, please remember that there are so many wonderful little furballs like Bucky (his name now) that need a home. Adopt one or even more please!. Here are some more photos I did not have the space for on my Websites:

A dead ringer for my cat, Fiona. Perhaps we can arrange a play date.

I've got a rescue that looks a lot like Bucky, except she usually is too afraid of the camera to stay still for long enough to get that many pictures of her.

Gorgeous little beast. Except for the white patches, he looks just like my little black alley cat, Dinky Boy. Most high strung kitteh ever. A sneeze would launch him 4' vertical with his feet paddling frantically for traction when he landed.

We have four rescues now.
P.K. was found in our backyard about 1996. Her front half is black and white tuxedo, her back half is brown and white tuxedo. I guess that makes her a calico tuxedo. She's a longhair.
Angelo was adopted from Cat Welfare a local no kill shelter about 2001. He's a strapping big shorthair Tuxedo.
Lillie was abandoned in 2007 by a hooker who lived in a a friends rental for a while. She's a gorgeous Lilac Point Birman. Birmans are longhair.
April showed up on our porch two years ago, she's a shorthair dilute tortoiseshell.

I'm two years removed from my last fuzzball, Maggie...also a rescue. She was mostly Siamese with one back leg white and black...my Siamese cow . I don't think a cat would work in my two-dog house right now. But I did enjoy my little fuzzball for 15 years.

I feed a tortoiseshell that lives around our shop. Every morning the cat sees me car park my car across the street and then starts in on her rubbing on everything in sight and meowing. I give her a can of cat food in her bowl with water (although I never see her drink). After she is done eating you can't get close to her at all.

I feel sad on weekends when I am not there to feed her. I can picture her looking across the street waiting patiently for me to show up and I don't. :-((
