Does it mean that you're "getting older" when...

...it takes a while to remember your age?

I've been curve-balled this question and it turns into a "hmmmm....ummmm.....yes...nooo.....stall.......there it is!," kind of situation.

I sure hope not- lately if asked, I have to actually do the math in my head! And I'm only...let's see...33!

I have had to recalculate my age ever since I turned 31 a few years back...and that isn't too old to forget things...is it?

How about some drunken broad refering to your sister as your daughter?

I'm THIS many:

After a while you notice you've quit wondering about getting older and accept the fact. Now get off my lawn, that's harder to accept.

When the pretty young woman cutting my hair asked if I wanted my eyebrows trimmed, I knew I was "getting older".

I'm 27 and I have trouble remembering my age.

It's gonna be hell in 2 weeks when I turn 28.

Sort of. It means you are no longer an young adult. For kids age matters. Once you are 12 or so it starts to matter bacause of milestones, what movies yuo can see, if yuo can drive and iff you can get booze.

After 21 it really does not matter until yuo are old enough to start getting senior discounts.

In a few years I'll let you know if it is like a second childhood when it comes to remembering my age.

It well could be in reverse. First the milestones and then age starts to matter just like it does for a younger than 12 year old kid (but in the opposite direction).

Well like most things it depends on the person. Most people are mature enough to recognise what you're saying is true, but it takes a bit longer for others.

Nope. At 25 your car insurance goes down.

Go to the Oar House in Santa Monica. They card everyone.

At least in California ABC can create problems if there is anyone in a bar without ID (and over 21 of course). Look for any bar that has had recent problems. I got carded at about 45 because of this even though the doorman knew me by sight.
