darn you BikeForums, that was supposed to be in all caps.
Digital clocks have hands? :p
I remember doing questions like this in my high school geometry class.
what happened to my first post?
also, I cheated and fixed your post ben. we are even for the yoohoo now.
I love you, man.
so what is the angle? Something in the 350 degrees range, I'd reckon, right?
Depending on the interpretation, either 0 or 360º when you consider it. If you look at it as travel from the origin point with both hands at the same point, it's 0º. If you start at the origin and follow around to the minute hand, it's 360º
Thank you all for the wonderful answers. You all get an A++. However, the question was asked of Chipy and I have not received an answer yet. I have a feeling he doesn't love us anymore folks.

can you feel the love tonight?
7.5 degrees.
minute hand is at 90 degrees, hour hand is at 90 + (360/12)*(1/4)
I'd go 352.5 degrees based on the original wording of the question, but thanks for doing the math, I was too lazy.
Come on guys, let's not ruin this with math.
