apparently there was something lined up in the late 90s that was ahead of its time, technologically speaking.

I never heard of it back then...but yeah it would be fun. Niche market or not, I think there;d be plenty of people who'd want to pull out the vintage boxes and takes some pics. If it works on any 35mm camera, you;d only need pay for it once. This would be great for people who have one or two sentimental Favorites (I know lots of folks who do, and won't get rid of them , although they only shoot digital now), and even better for people who have a crazy big collection. (Calling Gnome!!)

Vaporware. That idea has been floating around for years and years and years.
This one is a joke but there has been the idea for a long time.

If it WAS true, I'd sure get one.

This is as close as you are going to come to digital capture on pre digital camera bodies.

50 megapix, seventeen thousand bucks.

With the amount of interest apparently shown by the photographic community I'm sure that there are various group/business who have started looking into it. So sometime in the future expect to see something like it available.

Love my old filum cameras. I have an 800 mm telephoto & a bellows arrangement for macro photography but no digital camera to use them with. This is a product whose time has come!

If only.................

50 megapix,
This is the main reason I would love to get a MF...I still have a lot to learn so the small format is fine for now but I would love to shoot film with more detail and have the option for digital with the same kit.

Still want.
Develop it.........(Pardon the accidental film pun ) I want one for my Rollie TLR.
