That's some good eating right there.
From the sink to the hibachi. They were might good.
I think there are about 3 bream in that mess, the rest are crappie.

Fishing at St. Simons sucks this week so far. The tides are crazy high and man is the water rough by the big pier.

Jealous! Doesn't matter if they are biting or not...I've been slammed at work and have my second paper due on Wed. for this masters thingy. I'd almost give a testicle for a weekend of relaxation and fishing.

    Got a spare room.
Hang a left at the third light on Demere and holler for me once you park.

Took a little trip to hunt turkeys in Oklahoma (Ratliff City area, if anyone cares). While there, I took advantage of the many little farm ponds during the lulls. Came up with a few nice bass, and even caught two bluegill on the same lure - that was a first. Turned 'em all loose, of course. Got to see some other wildlife, too:

Based on attitude, I thought it was something uber deadly. That snake had no interest in running, and seemed very interested in getting at me. More-so than any other snake I've encountered - various species of rattlesnakes included.

According to the OK biologist I sent the pic to, it is a Black Rat Snake. Turns out, a lot of attitude but harmless ...... more or less. I wasn't going to get close enough to find out.

Ha! Picked it back up today. Caught about 20 crappie at Hoover Reservoir north of Columbus. Had a great time, I forgot how much fun that was.

The trailer is actually plastic, not liquorice. But the fish certainly thought it looked delicious.

    Must. Go. Fishing.

BBM - the snake pic makes it appear that the head is triangular shaped, but probably just the angle of the photo. Coloring makes me think that the expert is correct that it's non-venomous.

Duck eating a biscuit. Then he got in the boat and stood on the bow and did a king-o-the-world thing for about an hour.
He got off when we got near some of his friends.
