Craigslist find of the decade!

Claims to have been bought in Germany for $700.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bik/2433494027.html

Also, http://www.localbiketrader.com/bike-ad-4723

I wrote the lady and she won't accept my words of truth about it not being a $700 bike.

Maybe in Germany with the cost of shipping, duties, taxes and exchange, it is a $700 dolar bike.

Everything is more expensive in Europe. But that bike is a pile of you-know-what in any language.

But maybe some hipster in SF will pick pay the $250 and crappy Tourney-equipped MTBs will be the next hot new hispter trend. Then we can all get fixies on the cheap.

If from Germany, the poster probably bought it for 70.00 euro at Real or Aldi thinking she was really into something.

Sometimes, the fumes from the meth lab leak out under the door into the living quarters.

I run into this all the time at yard sales, people claiming the bikes are high $$ when in
fact they are Wally bikes. One has been in the yard sale for ten years, no labels but
it cost $1200 new, Falcon equipped road bike. Steel wheels, bad tires and all the cables
are stuck solid.
