Jeans...

...what brand is your favorite? I've recently purchased three pair of Levis 501 Shrink-To-Fit and I've been very happy with them so far.

What are you favorite pair of jeans?

Carhartt and Levis. Not sure what # Levis but they're baggier than 501s.

501's. Usually pick up a few pair when they go on a 50% off sale.

I could not accept the political agenda of the management of Levis company so I switched to Wranglers. I found that I like the Wranglers jeans better than the Levis jeans.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled with Levis now that they're no longer made in the US. They aren't as durable, but they fit me better than most.

Ann Taylor Loft. They fit, and if I wait long enough I can get them on sale for less than $25.

I don't like button fly pants/jeans. I like the relaxed fit Lee jeans. I get them on sale at the outlet mall down the road.

Kirkland (Costco). Whatever style/cut they are. I don't worry about it much.

I usually wear Dickies or Dockers slacks nowadays. The 2 pair of jeans I do own are Wranglers and I may just stick to that brand if I ever get anymore jeans.

Levis 550 for knocking about/work jeans
Lucky 181 for everyday wear (221s are nice, but too tight around the quads for most cyclists.)
7 For All Mankind (forget which style, something button fly), and Citizens of Humanity "Evans" for 'going out' jeans.

Want to get a pair of 501 original selvedge, but they never seem to have my size.

7 For All Mankind, Citizens of Humanity and Joes Jeans all hold up well and come equipped with zippers that stay put.

Walmart on sale, Wranglers most of the time. Shorts in the summer, carpenters.

Since I started biking, I no longer have to pay extra for large sizes!

These are a pair of the STF 501s I picked up the other day. They are amazingly comfortable. I wore them damp, as they were shrinking, at the local dog park the other day. They fit my body and legs like a glove.....a very disgusting yet comfortable glove.

I tried on a couple different styles of Joes, and couldn't find one (even their "relaxed fit") that wasn't painted onto my quads. It's been the consistent issue when trying to find jeans: If they fit around the waist and cuff, they're tight in the quads. If they're OK at the quads, then they're usually really loose at the cuffs.
