Anybody here a machinist?

Assume you are using a professional grade mill (mazak).

Can you comment on the accuracy of a the diameter of a circular interpolation with an endmill with your mill? Are you able to make perfect circles? Additionally, can you comment on the finish you leave behind?

Are you able to make it anywhere as good as a boring head?

Nah, there's no need to make that stuff; instead of fixing the dent I'm using insurance money to blow on 800 dollar rims.

You can blow on my rims for $400. I think you are getting ripped off.

Now you're talking homeslice. Finally your dance card will be filled on weekends with that rolling beaver-magnet.

Let's not forget the neon lights and sub-woofers.

Not a machinist, but in past experience unless we were making a piston bore a circular interp was fine. At that point you probably want to hone it anyways. Surface finish was the same as any other milling operation. For the really nice holes we used a jig grinder
