Spent the week renovating my bathroom. After a week off work, electrical, reinsulating, moving drains and plumbing, I'm on to tiling. End is in sight!

I've ridden almost everyday since spring. My legs aren't recovering and my right knee has been killing me. I've missed two consecutive weeks of club rides for the first time in years.

Ouch.

Do you do any strength training or yoga? My knees started sounding like Rice Krispies when I put pressure on them. I'm working with a trainer to help strengthen the surrounding muscles and it's helping.

I do a lot of squats, straight leg deadlifts and deadlifts. No yoga.

I suspect I hurt my knee when I was stretching it. I've done it before.

First day on the new job. It went well enough I guess, but I managed to cut my thumb pretty horribly. Took forever to stop the bleeding.

Super Glue works well after you get the bleeding stopped.

Yay on the job and nay on the self inflicted injuries.

Sixty, I thought Lamp's new job was product testing at the BandAid factory.

I need some new ideas for hot beverages, preferably non-alcoholic so I can drink them at work. Not coffee (that's my first 2 cups of the day), and something other than lipton's tea packets.
