If my coworker complains one more time about a phone call, I'm going to smack him upside the head.

So I took the chainsaw to a swing set / fort thing in the back yard with some pretty serious wood rot. We got it from my brother when he had a pool built and it has served the kids of our family well for around 15 years. Surprised how much of the thing has been scavenged from the curb where we stacked the pieces for the city to pick up. Makes me think I should have just put a sign in the yard that said free play set and let someone else do the scavenging. With my luck, I would get sued due to them using it with the wood rot and some getting hurt, which is why I took it down to begin with.

Did a bunch of spring cleaning today. That combined with the fact that there's no cat hair or litter left around, and this place is more spotless than I can ever remember. Gonna try to hit the sack early and have a 6am hangout with my buddy who works nights.

Soon I'll have health insurance! Is it bad that I've feared going to the doctor more because of the bill than due to any illness?

drinking green tea and wondering why a query has been running for 18 hours when the same query usually runs in 10 minutes (I suspect IT is behind this...probably associated with a server migration.....would be nice if they had sent an email).

Why would they do that? It's called consideration.

I'm drinking coffee and wondering why people who receive 'free' benefits have to be so freaking rude!!!!!

I just want to complain about the ads on youtube.....at least make them make sense.
If I've been cranking Motley Crue all morning, I do not want to have to listen to 30 seconds of Taylor Swift. Holy Crap! is that hard to figure out?

Finally got the limbs I've been waiting on.
Put 'em on the riser the other day. Here's the new bow, but not strung up.

Got home today and had time to put the arrow rest, plunger, and sight on it. Got about 5 ends of 3 arrows to tune it and site it in. This is the last round at 18m (20yds).
Not bad for the first day:

Worked on my car for most of the evening... what was already a smooth running car is now a little smoother as I got the exhaust system tweaked this morning and changed out all the stock ignition parts for new ones... I hear that you are supposed to do this every 20 years.

A few more hp and better mileage is always a good thing... will be leaving for Portland on Sunday so thought it was time to do all these little things.

Still won't be squealing those tyres... I would have to drop in an engine from the R type for that to happen.

Wide angle. That's what makes it so disturbing.

Crazy weather here. All the main highways are flooded at points. A couple of friends are reporting some pretty serious flooding. Hopefully I won't have to spend my day shop-vaccuming.
