Thanking the Lord that tomorrow is a day away from the office. If I have to spoon feed this one guy again this week, I will not be held responsible for my actions.

Here's my new temporary owner. Within seconds of letting him out of his travel caddy, he was scouting every available room. It was really interesting to watch him and... I'm sorry, I started taking cat pictures.

He has a few quirks ... he sprints back and forth between the rooms a few times after using the bathroom. He usually hangs out by the window, under the bed sleeping, or right in front of the IR receiver on the TV I made him a toy with a couple shoe laces.

Very cute cat.

Dead night at work. The potential rain is keeping everyone indoors. I'm a little miffed with my boss... before the summer started I specifically asked if I would be losing hours to seasonal workers, he implicitly said no, and my hours have been nearly halved for next week because the kids complained I was getting preferential treatment. I've got a shoe in the door at a place that pays better and is equally easy work... not sure what's stopping me at this point. Simple fear of the unknown I suppose.

Made some really strong coffee! Was not wearing my glasses and I think must have used the 1/3 cup measure instead of the 1/4 cup measure, so I used a little over 2/3 of a cup of grounds for the coffee this AM. It makes my mouth and tongue tingle! I kinda like it. I think I want to go bench press a pick up truck now.

Re-doing the weekly reports from earlier in the week. The data was missing 4 markets (over $1M), so I'm re-doing everything.

My buddy came to my office to fix the AC units. A fuse was blown and he didn't have a replacement so he took a smaller one, put a 1/2" copper pipe extension on it and put it in. Everything in the facility goes down. Computers, electric doors and gates, shore power, everything. Blew a 1600 amp breaker.

My cats will sprint from the litterbox if they've done something really stinky. And then they forget to cover it up.

I see a Darwin Award in his future.

Chicken is on the grill, and I've used up the last of my Southern Soul soul dust. They need to sell this stuff by the gallon.

I passed a written exam on Wednesday, only about 3 more to go before qualification. Every night since then, I've put away at least half a dozen beers...today seems like a good day to start early. Like now.

Good thing I'm terrible at following instructions. Great names for their stuff.

It's good stuff; you can put it on pretty much anything going on the grill. I get whole chicken breasts with bones and rub it under the skin before I grill them. It comes out amazing.
