Getting myself prepared for my 5th hurricane.
yuck, these hp touchpads are just magnets for the worst humans I've seen in a while.
almost as bad as the ipad, iphone, xbox360 and ps3 craze when they first came out.
Food for thought: if you aren't dead by 2050, you and your entire family will be within a few years from starvation. Now that is a cruel gift to leave for your offspring. ;)
Note to self: Buy twister.

Preparing materials for an outrigger canoe event.
Going to be a busy weekend of rowing coaching, rowing boat rigging (or running a course in it) and managing an outrigger canoe race.
Might sleep on Monday. Or go riding (no Sunday ride for me )
Why won't this cold go away!?

The last man at the office at 9:15 p.m. on a Friday, waiting for a couple of companies to release their first-half earnings and hoping I don't mess up the numbers in my stories.
Today I'm delivering my daughter to college and will drive home without her
It is uplifting to be here and around so many bright and enthusiastic young ones, all so eager to start the college life.
She is in good hands here in Walla Walla Washington, so I'm pretty happy overall!
Those voices in your head aren't real, but they have some great ideas
I am on yet another 2-hour conference call. The hands-free clip on my ear is starting to hurt.
Sitting here in Dulles airport eating a terribly mashed tuna sammich - waiting for my next flight at 1 pm to head to Raleigh - visiting Wolfpack and doing a Warrior's Dash race tomorrow - and hoping the hurricane isn't tooooooo bad ...
Dealing with an insane person.
Taking some rest now... critical mass this afternoon.
Wondering if I really am crazy enough to try to get a ride in this weekend while I still have stitches in my back. And wondering just how fast I can make the next 44 minutes go by. And wondering just how much sangria I'm going to drink this evening, or if all the flute players invading my house this evening is going to drink it all before I get there. And wondering if I'm going to keep my sanity if I don't ride this weekend after having the house invaded by a bunch of flute players this evening...
Uggh, summer cyclists. Four going the wrong way down a bike lane with no lights whatsoever and then a kid on a skateboard ran the red right in front of me.
Oh, and the ride home didn't help the migraine.
Final drink count for the night:
2.5ish small glasses of sangria. 2 not so small glasses containing Sailor Jerry Navy Rum and coke. Current state, not buzzed any more, but not sober either.
