Just talking to my most beautiful wife... she is flying in tomorrow night.

Nothing has changed with my mom and some things needed to change.

Not good.

Yep, cats are devious and are out to take over the world, or perhaps, they already have.

Been working for the last few days adapting rocket stove technology to a wood kiln application. Does that make me a rocket scientist?

Umm ... do you have to service all of them or can you just pick the cute ones?

Watching the temperature of thermocouples rise is right up there with watching grass grow on the excitement meter.

Packing. Again.
My now former boss decided in his infinite wisdom (yes, extreme sarcasm) decided to let me go instead of me working my next (last, by my choice) week. He's really from the mid-East but I suspect he's actually Irish...last name, O'Blivious. He doesn't handle even the most mild criticism well.

That company (auto supplier) has many great people. I hope they can survive his ineptitude. He's layed off or fired 1/3 of the work force just in the time I was there (8 months). This, in a time when the auto sector has been going great guns. They've actually lost sales in this business climate. Going back to my old employer--didn't burn any bridges. And there isn't anyone there that is even close to being that clueless.

Ah well, onward and upward. I hope all y'alls' weekend is looking bright

Watching Baylor/Xavier game. Wondering how I'm going to be able to stay up to watch the Wolfpack play when it's just 9pm and I'm already sleepy....

Cooking some steel cut oats in the oven too.

Just had a jam session on the bike. Someone should sponsor me. I don't need free stuff, it'd just be sweet to say I'm sponsored, ****.

Depends on what the cardiologist says, and how soon I can get back on the bike. we'll at least be doing some short ones around Indiana, maybe 3 or 4 day trips.
