Multiple tornadoes in the DFW are this afternoon. One passed not far to the east of here, another across town to the west. oddly enough, I don't think it's even rained here at the office yet today.

It rained lightly Jon. I saw water on my window earlier. Did you see the rolling roadblock on 635?

Can you fix an iron keel with bondo? Maybe add some really thick bottom paint?

What that keel needs is a good set of load bearing decals.

It would be nice to make it there without the wailing, gnashing of teeth and heavy blood loss it takes at the moment

Edit: Day 22 of 23 now!

Well, it is true that Brushtail Possums are considered vermin in New Zealand. But to be equal and fair, most New Zealanders who turn up in Sydney and get on the dole are thought of in the same manner.

Possums do make lovely woolen socks and jumpers when mixed with merino. The Kiwis worked that out.

Is it wrong to buy a beer cycling jersey because I like the design, but haven't tried the beer? And is primalwear a decent jersey?

If someone asks you about the jersey tell them you haven't tried the beer, but if they want to buy you one you'll give them your opinion.

Starting 5 days off due to holidays here (Santa Semana, or Holy Week). Ah, sweet bliss... I have work I am going to do, but no one is here. (I am the owner if you were wondering)

Yes, even owners like holidays. Heck, I like them more now than when I was a wage slave.

I was just thinking about my neighbor who moved to snow country. We are used to 110 degree weather in the summer and now she gets mild summers. But DANG during the winter your and her heating bills must be high!
