With my fondness for fancy cheeses, I found this weird/new-to-me baked ricotta thing at the grocery store. Bufala ricotta, sweetened and w/ lemon. It was quite tasty.

I drew the image on the left in pencil (obviously), then using Photoshop I traced the basic lines on a separate layer. Then I got rid of the original and made all new shading, disregarding the original entirely. What I find weird is even though I directly traced the basic lines, I can find several features I inadvertently changed and tweaked.
Very nice!

The more you work on a drawing, the more you're going to tweak it, especially if you switch mediums (pencil - Photoshop).

Thanks! And yes, I guess that's true. I was just looking over the two side by side and kept saying to myself, "You changed that? When did you do it?"

While discussing a friend's inability to send some photos of us:

Her: "Well, he's not very technically proficient."

Me: "No wonder he uses Apple products."

Her (Mac user): <glare>

Worst week at work in recent and not-so-recent memory. Just can't seem to do anything right, and it never seems to end. I can't even begin to express how much I'm looking forward to this weekend.

I think I need to stop biking. I don't think my body can handle this anymore. Plus I'm getting bored with this area. On a latter note this whole child getting kidnapped must be serious business if there are still a million cops in the next neighborhood, plus no one ever does anything as serious with other children being abducted.

man, I am just so unlucky this year.
Why did I get a summons to witness and funeral on the same day?

Someone committed a federal offense by putting a flyer in my mail box. I don't care if she is missing. Post flyers where ever and put her on the news and internet. Just a waste of paper cause I'm just going to throw it away. So many children go missing or get abducted. I still don't get why she is special. I don't know what makes these cops think she is in my neighborhood.

I would cut the little girl's family some slack. They probably put the flyers in everyone's mailbox. If one of your loved ones was missing you'd probably do everything to find them, including distributing flyers wherever you could.

The people I'd like to get rid of are those who put advertising flyers under my car's windshield wipers.

I'm thinking an electric fence charger hooked up to the wipers and a video camera couled make for an entire YouTube channel.

Waiting for two companies to release their 1Q earnings so I can write my stories and get out of here to take a much-needed break.
