Trying to fix a freezer drawer. "Freezer on the bottoms" ain't all they're cracked up to be. I need ice for my G&T damnit.

That's one of the many reasons I got a traditional refrigerator with the freezer on top when I moved. I had a side-by-side and the freezer drain kept clogging with ice, and the refrigerator section wasn't wide enough to hold a big sheet cake from Costco. A friend had the freezer on the bottom and every time she opened the freezer drawer, ice cubes would get knocked out of the basket.

That might help, until I get tired of taking it outside to poop. I also watched "Bambi" earlier, thinking that would sort of prime me for this. But "Bambi" is like Christmas morning in comparison.

Just got to play with this at my photo lab. It'll be for sale soon, but I doubt I can justify buying it.

I was actually a little disappointed with the viewfinder/rangefinder.

I always enjoyed the rangefinder in my father's M2. Simplicity at it's best.

I've never really cared for a rangefinder either.

7.1 on 4 September 2010 or 6.3 on 22 February 2011. I think it was the February fault lines rumbling again.

Looking forward to the next few days... I am teaching a class of grade 3 students tomorrow morning and Saturday I am going to look at a new whip and expecting to be rolling home on some serious fatties as it is pretty much a done deal with a price I could not walk away from.

I think I can deal with a purple bike... for now.

Preparing for a trip to Denver to meet up with my prom date. This will either be the longest four days of my life or pure heaven.

Just told the wife I was going to buy a Pugsley... her reply was "GREAT !"

No... she does not have a sister.

She also knows that having this will let me work on designing some custom racks (something you can't get to fit a Pug) and I also plan to build a lady's step through version that will rock some 3.7 tytres with geometry that is a little more laid back for winter winter riding as I know a lady who would love this.

Still smiling after this evening's adventures in banking with my daughters... was opening them new accounts at my bank which has some odd ideas on what constitutes valid identification.

Brought their passports which would constitute valid ID almost anywhere but they wanted secondary ID and on that list for minors was... their library card. They could have provided their SIN card or learner's permits but they don't have either of those since they are children.

I was a little frustrated, having had them reject otherwise valid ID (like my wife's US driver's license) on an earlier occasion... my youngest spoke up to my banker while holding up her library card and said, "Seriously... my picture is not on this card anywhere and I am not even old enough to sign it myself... it could be anybody's card."

I think my daughter is ready to manage her own account at the bank.
