Kieth, may you and Donna have as many or more happy years as me and my wife (34th anniversary in December).

So YOU'RE the bastard that stole my Donna!

Congrats to you both, you make a beautiful couple and it couldn't have happened to two nicer people.

Wow!! I often wondered what had become of Donna -- glad to see her face around these parts again (even if I'm not here often myself), and very hearty congratulations to the two of you! My sincere best wishes for a long and happy life together... it seems you're off to a great start

All I can add is some misty eyes here as well.

Donna was one of the first to respond with welcoming warmth and knowledgeable, helpful replies to my threads and inquiries on BF (when we'd planned a visit to P-town, etc.). It is so nice to see two wonderful people find happiness together. BF magic strikes again!

Getting a little verklempt, gotta go find kleenex now...Congratulations again, guys.

Those are great photos, you both look so happy.

You are not the first person to express that sentiment...

She stepped away from BF a few years ago but know that almost everyone thought well of her because she is very generous and will agree with pgoat on the warmth thing having experienced that first hand.

She does have the coldest feet though...

Will have to do my very best to ensure that I keep her warm here in Canada as we have winters the likes of which she has never seen but she is already keen on winter riding and putting studded tyres on her Breezer.

Am hoping that she finds a job that is close enough that walking and busing are also an option and we will have a car for long trips as my family is a long ways away and we plan to visit Michigan some day to see her parents there.

Have built her a beautiful Peugeot mixte to use as a summer bike and a handbuilt mixte will be in the works for her... only fitting that she has something that was made especially for her.

We joke that she loves me for my mad bike skills but I think it's the kilt and the fact I would do anything for her.

Awesome... but this is our song.

When we exchanged our vows it was a very simple exchange of our "forevers"... and not a day less would do.

I have been to Voodoo Donuts many times, but never during one of the wedding ceremonies. If you are on your way to Portland on I-5, stop in at Frost Donuts in Mill Creek, where they also have the bacon maple bar.

Or some greedy people from Ohio thinking they needed to have a port city on Lake Erie.

We might have to arrange to meet up there...

I live in one of the most beautiful places on earth... it is not a long trip from here to get into the Rockies but the pictures I have seen from the UP rank up there and the new inlaws, on discovering they would have two new grand daughters made sure there new home would have space for them when we come to visit.

Girls are more than amused that my father in law looks remarkably like Santa Claus as he is a big guy with an impressive white beard and has more than a few kids think he was St.Nick... being the good humoured guy he is he plays right along.

The only thing that throws them off is the leather and jeans he wears when he fires up his Harley Davidson.

We also built him a road bike a few years ago... had to fit tandem worthy wheels as he really is a giant and since then he has lost 30 pounds and does not require any medication for his diabetes as he rides nearly every day and says he loves it. He has always been very athletic so getting back in shape was not as hard for him as it was for some.

It would be lovely to meet up with you up there. And I have to say that the parallels between you FIL and my FIL are incredible...though Poppy doesn't drive a Harley, kids do mistake him for St. Nick. Glad to hear that your wife's family is so welcoming of the butterflies.
