Pics stopped working for me all across the forums if the post is longer than a few minutes old. In other words, if someone posts a pic and I see the post right away, then I can see the pic, too. But if a few minutes pass before the pic is posted and I view it, then I get a broken image icon, even when I saw the pic just fine a few moments before. This has been going on for a few weeks now.

I finally got around to removing some carpet and padding and found this underneath. I think it's from the 1920's given that it was also under the linoleum. I wonder if they sealed the floors back then with newspaper and shellac. to think it survived all these years and a power sanding at some point. a few more sections survived, turns out there was a grasshopper eating potatoes problem back then, made me say dahell?

I saw something like this in Shanghai. The countdown to door opening was very obvious. Oddly these were the only really clean restrooms in all of China.

I do occasionally enjoy wandering over to engrish.com to see what crazy stuff people are putting on their signs/t-shirts. The adult section can be especially funny, but it's nsfw and is blocked by my work.

Didn't someone ask what happened to Olestra? Maybe they're serving it here.

not trying to nit pick the bike, I like the bike, altho I would have used more duct tape if it was my bike, just saying.

People are using "non-lethal" weapons so freely nowadays. "Oh no, a guy on a bike touched the 6,000lb car I'm chasing him down in, I'd better pepper spray him." I hope the guy on the bike files a civil suit, if that's legally possible.

Most of the faces remind me of Dragon Ball Z characters.
