I was going to say that I get in trouble if I do that before she wakes up, but that was quite the video.

You better start skydiving now....from what I've read, it takes 200 normal skydive and then base jumps before you can get a qualified instructor to teach you to fly a wingsuit. And that's just normal flying, not proximity flying.

But I agree - it looks like the most incredible thing to do....

I hope so too. Watching the video gives the impression that the smallest mistake or unaccounted factor...and that's all she wrote.

The very next video in the Youtube queue puts a point on it.

Yep - that one happened quite a while back...and Jeb (from the vid I posted) flew under the bridge, and the other guy (Dwain Weston) was goign to fly over it....they had both exited a small plane a couple miles away. Hopefully equipment, techniques, and knowledge has come a long way since then. I guess you can't be involved in that kind of sport and not know people who have died.

Oh - and for the Grinding the Crack vid I posted the link to -- apparently he made several jumps in a row for that video, on the same day....I think I read nine in one day. Apparently if he didn't have enough elevation he flew out to the right or left of the "crack" area.
