I would be happy to. Just send me $250 to get the car out of the impound lot, then I will pay you back and you can have the car for $100/wk.

Please send the Cheque to RUOkie, c/o Prince of Nigeria scam, 150 Yougottabekiddingme St., Phoenix, AZ

Good luck. I tried to borrow a bicycle when traveling to San Antonio in 2009. At least I could still walk around town.

This reminds me of a song about a little old lady from Pasadena. You might want to spend some internet time checking out the differences between rental companies and see if you can find her a deal in Phoenix.

There are a number of Zipcar locations around Phoenix in case she doesn't need the car everyday.

Have you thought about just purchasing a car for the duration and selling it when your mom leaves?

^So much for that down-home Texacan hospitality?
You're going to make this guys elderly mom ride hundreds of miles in the desert on a 56-58 Roadmaster bike?

Go find the offices of RedRock Software and steal one from their parking lot. Worst software company EVER. Tell then Ben from Stanford sent you and they will probably beat you up even more.

If I'm ever in Dallas, I may take you up on that offer (my two road bikes are 58cm and 59cm). I don't want to use your car.

Here's where to get a car in Phoenix...

Barrett Jackson

A collector car will appreciate while you own it. So it won't cost you anything

Excuse me sir, but we do not have horns that play Dixie. Our horns play (clap clap clap clap) "Deep in the Heart of Texas." And the only reason I will not let him borrow my car is that I would just give him one of the older ones that do not have revolvers for door handles or diamond encrusted hub caps.

Oh, come on....You're just afraid that the car will return with Cardinals' decals all over and a bumper sticker that says "Cowboys S*ck". Admit it.

Borrow one of the Diamondbacks' cars. They'll be too depressed to use them after losing to the Brewers tonight .

If you were a true follower of Rubenstories TM(not just locking them)Rube "splained"that the extra car was taken over by a previous ex and her boy friend.
As for the extra car in Portible Rico.....well he just can't visit there at this time. Some sort of clerical error at the Federal offices.

I KNOW about the BF (sitting on the stairs, smoking while Rube fixes it for him) but I'm thinkin that OP can go over there and just take it. Ya know, use Rube's spare key and such. And I was thinking that the car in PR can be used if OP gets it outta hock.
