Do you think the Bikeforums counters lie?

Im seriously curious about this. It'll be like 3 in the morning and it'll say (96 People viewing) the MTB forum or something, but no one has posted in forever and only like two of them are registered members. WTF are these lurkers doing? I dont believe they're really there.

...and Joe is a modern-day Wizard of Oz.

IF "Joe" really exists. Have you ever wondered about the name, "Joe Gardner?" Sounds a lot like "John Q. Public" to me. Some guy is laughing his butt off, right now.

What about, "Chris L.?" Colorful character, to say the least. Convenient, living in Australia.

You've got me thinking, now. It's all coming together...

Well, Chris is a fake.

Joe is actually Josephina. Joeephina lives out in the south somewhere. I think in a red state.

Seriously, though. From what I understand, the people who are the "guests" we don't see are coming through the google search engine. They are in the archives looking at old threads, so they're not even really "in" the forums. I mean, they are in the forums, but they're looking at archived threads. If you ever look at the archives, it looks pretty funky, and nothing like what we've got here.

Do any of us really exist...or is it a plot to make it look like there is more than one admin...

Oh, you are smooth, "Maelstrom." Funny how all the "administrators" suddenly jumped onto this thread. I think it's time to set my apartment on fire to destroy all the evidence.

That's true. "Chris L" is merely one name by which Koffee Brown goes.
