New boat!!!

Okay well new to me anyway.
I have been looking about 3 years for a good deal on a nice family boat. I finally found it.

The lower end and transom was rebuilt last year. The top was off of a Crownline. The boat mechanic that sold it used it for his family boat the last couple of years. He said it will do 47mph and run all weekend on one tank. I cant wait til summer now. We have taken it out a couple of times and like it a lot. But I will have to winterize it soon.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Congratulations. You're going to have to provide another link though. The craigslist ad has been closed out. However, should you need volunteer passengers, I am close by.

Why did it need the lower end (are you talking lower drive unit) and transom rebuilt? Might have hit something REAL hard. Just sayin, oh, and I worked in the boat business for about 15 years.

I started out in a very similar boat with the same size engine. Its very economical. You and your family will have lots of fun.

You knw the other thing they say about boats - once you get used to it, it's three feet to short and time to move up.

I've been wanting a boot too. I'd like a pontoon for fishing and relaxing on our local lakes. Or anything like the call a deck boat.

Right now's the time too. Motivated sellers, wanting Christmas money.

It's so true! My family had a boat when I was growing up. I loved it at first, but then was so happy to see it go.
