Ruana Knife, circa 1972...how to polish

Cleaning ip my attic I found a Ruana "sticker" knife that was given to me by a friend's dad on my first deer hunting trip in 1972 or 1973. I want to make it look nice, before I give it to my son in law. It has been unused since 1973. How should I restore it?

Seems like if it has been unused since 1973, it should be in pretty much as new condition. You could do this.

Ruana Knife Refurbishing. Their refurbishing "season" starts in January.
