Thinking seems to be absent from online advertising placement.
I've started collecting AOL, Yahoo and Google ad mistakes.
Example: AOL entertainment ran a story about Nick Nolte being sued by parents of a teenage girl, claiming their daughter had been drugged and sexually assaulted at a party at Nolte's house. (The Nolte grunge head shot isn't his worst, but it's still awful.) Ad running in the right column: "Single? Find a little naughty for your nice" with menus for "I am a ____ seeking a ____ between ___ and ____" keyword "LOVE@AOL"
