who wants a discount

i have 4 extra employee discounts to mountain hardwear, columbia sportswear, sorel, and montrail.

The discount ends on Dec 31, 2011. I think it's like 55% off.

I have no idea what to do with these passes and none of my friends want/need it.

Please don't do this.

Employee discounts are for employees. The manufacturer offers this in the hopes that if you actually use the product, you will be more informed about it when dealing with potential customers. Offering it to the public at large is a disservice at best, a breach of contract at worst.

Yes, but sometimes they offer a "friends and family" type employee discount for the same reason... and to get more people using their stuff. So it could be something like this.

Get new friends? 55% of Mountain Hardwear would seem like an outstanding opportunity.

I felt guilty using a friends & fam discount at a local shop when I was actually a friend of a friend of a staffer, not an actual friend (or family) but I was upfront about how I was there and they were very happy and piled my bill onto a discount for next time I go there... An online coupon (if that's what this is) is less personal and gives less opportunity for that kind of absolution (if they choose to give it) but I guess that's just the way it is...
