Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Yesterday was BBQ day@ my place!

Yesterday gave me nice weather, so I decided to break out the smoker.

Take one boneless Turkey, smoked with Hickory. Here, it's prepped for the slicer in manageable sections, and will either be dinner slabs or shaved. There's at least 9 meals there, though. Thus took 11 1/2 hours to smoke.

And the Pastrami, all sliced, and ready to pack.

There's 17 pounds of delicious, smoky goodness!

A smoked turkey is a delight.

My son works at the nearby BBQ joint and they smoked a turkey breast for us for Christmas. Brined, rubbed and hickory smoked.

Killer.
