christmas bummer (rant) (short)

ok, I can deal with the decorations, the christmas music,
the sales, the excessive number of drivers in a BIG hurry.

But I am absolutely about to go postal on the guy in the cube
next to me who brought in a boombox and is blasting
"The Carpenters Christmas Favorites"

I hated karen crapenter's music when she was alive,
hate now. . . .

oh geez, where are my headphones? its drowing out my
pink floyd, and Cheech and Chong's Santa and his old lady. . .

Marty

Actually, I think you can legally kill him. Make a video tape of the music, and the killing - no judge would dare convict.

The worst is when xmas shopping and the department stores play horrible xmas music like Michael Bolton, or quebecois singers doing overwrought screeching of carols. It goes through my head like a nail. I'd rather hear the chipmunks! I loved the chipmunks!

The worst is here in Raleigh we have a soft-rock station that is popular background music in many businesses, elevators, etc. They started playing that crap a week before halloween. By thanksgiving I was so sick of the holiday music I want to go out in public with an ipod on like a juvenile delinquent just to avoid the chance of hearing any of the brain wasting noise.

Eh? What's that you say? I can't hear because my high-frequency hearing's gone because of the dion scriom (scream that's meant to be).

Yo Scrooge!

Only 9 more days... hang in there!

Why not ask him to turn it down? If he says no, lace his eggnog with arsenic. It worked in that book "Flowers in the Attic". Just sick enough to get him to stay at home, then no music, and problem solved!

Go to the rest room. Do your business in a brown paper bag. Return with bag. Light bag on fire. Throw flaming bag in his cube. Act like nothing happened.

Kewl! Looks like that arsenic worked after all! Whooooo!

Don't forget to stop lacing though. According to Flowers in the Attic, if you stop in time, you won't die. Cory didn't stop eating the donuts, so he died, just like his pet mouse.
