    They seriously keep an eagle chained to the ground? That is all sorts of messed up.

    During recovery, it's either that or a cage. Most eagles I've seen there are recovering from eye infections/diseases. If they can't see well, they can't hunt. If you release them before curing them, they will die.

    I would guess those Rubenjewels will be long gone if the eagle were to get off that chain.He has the scent of french fries all over him.With the eagles poor vision God knows what could happen.That beak is as sharp as a zev.
    A picture of this unfortunate situation would be really "messed up".

    Yes but there will be even more"missing cat" posters nailed on street poles around town.
    They just don't get it,they're in the food chain.
