The Wall, Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Meddle and Atom Heart Mother have all been my fave at one point in time. Finally settled on Wish You Were Here around 1991 or so and that's been my favorite ever since.

Dark Side OF The Moon ...but I'll be honest, my second favorite Pink Floyd album* is so far down below not just DSOTM but practically every other rock album I would bother ranking that I'm probably not the person who should be taking your poll.

I do sincerely believe DSOTM is one of the best rock albums of all time, but I also think that was a complete fluke and that none of their other albums come remotely close in terms of quality and listenability.

*...which, in case you're wondering, would be Ummagumma

Some bands are just worth listening to even if they broke up before you were born. Dark side of the moon album stayed on the billboards charts for 14 years without ever reaching #1. It holds the current record of 741 weeks. Floyd transcends age.

Dark side of the moon. Their previous albums - ummgumma especially showcased their growth. Think I still have ummagumma.

That's like trying to pick a favorite child. It's easier for me to say which one I like the least and that would be Animals. Just can't get into that album.

Robert Johnson, Billie Holliday and Satchmo come to mind. Beethoven and Berlioz too. Hildegard Von Bingen was way ahead of her time.

When people ask me why I listen to rap I tell them how many times can a 58 year old geez like me listen to Pink Floyd before I vomit?

I rather like the PULSE live album, but that's probably cheating somewhat. As studio albums go, I'd say DSOTM followed by The Wall

Just want to say that I love Pink Floyd. Gaaawdd I just ****ing love Pink Floyd. Love em love em love em.

I wish they'd made like an hour long version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond. I don't think I can ever get tired of listening to that song.

I wish I could boil that song down and inject it into my veins.
