    Favorite Pink Floyd album

I watched a show on VH1 Classic last night about the making of "Wish You Were Here" and that got me thinking about what is my favorite PF album. I would have to say "Wish You Were Here" is probably it.

What is your favorite Pink Floyd album?

In a college puppetry class, I used "Careful With That Axe Eugene" as the soundtrack for a puppet show based on the Walrus and the Carpenter by Lewis Carroll. It turned out wonderfully. The dark music gave it just the right creepiness to my reading of the poem and the creshendo and screaming came just when the Walrus and the Carpenter laid bare their plan to kill and eat the oysters. The teacher was most impressed.

Pink Floyd is my all time favorite band

I really like the song Echos (not talking about the album, talking about the song).

However, my favorite album from them is... Live at Pompeii

^that album was a really good one

The early stuff is good too like Julia Dream and even stuff with Syd Barrett even though Syd was deeply insane

I have to admit I did not know Syd was only on "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" and 3 songs of "A Saucer Full of Secrets"

Wish You Were Here would have to be mine, but that's a tough call. Careful With That Axe Eugene is a great song, not many people know about it now.

There is no way I could pick just one and I have them all. They all have their diamonds and I especially love their long songs like Shine on, atom earth mother, echoes, interstellar overdrive and such. Pink Floyd is my favorite band tho'. Alien rock I can relate to
