Since I used to work for them back in my HS days, I know what Arby's stands for- do you?

Everything I've ever had at Arby's has been disappointing.

I've been eating turkey reubens lately...healthier and just as tasty. Gots to have me some decent rye bread and swiss (or maybe muenster) cheese though.

Come here and I will make you a Reuben sandwich that will make your toes curl.

Fresh rye bread, swiss cheese, and corned beef from my little Italian deli and then we can add some real barrel aged sauerkraut and a similarly aged dill pickle to put on the side.

If you've never tried the Arby-Q, I'd suggest that you don't...

You need to see if you can score some of Tom's pastarmi and then maybe you'll have a sandwich that you'll remember forever.

Is this some kind of a follow up to the pink goo thread from last week?

Go Here. Harold's New York Deli, possibly the best pastrami sandwichs in the Universe.

I am surrounded by some of the best small ethnic markets here... the Polish market smokes all it's own sausages and deli meats and it is a stone's throw away from me but those Italians do some wonderful things in their deli.

Being able to find real barrel aged sauerkraut and crunchy dill pickles so close is a treat.

What is really good is smoked Gouda instead of Swiss... my daughter says it is cheese that tastes like bacon.

They get smoked gouda and pastrami sandwiches for their lunches at least once or twice a week... they love them.

Gouda is good... but I wouldn't rate it higher than swiss. Oh hell, they're all good.

Rube,if you were any farther from the Great White border you would be Gulf of Mexico shark poop.
It's nearly 70F today and winter is over.
Time for Rube to put on those form fitting tank tops.

You already live in our 11th province and must be familiar with Canadian traditions and customs... I hope you know how to knock with your elbows.
