    Wives' wisdom

High-speed internet commercial. College student sends video e-mail to Mom. Vivid scenes: NO FOOD IN HOUSE. Empty fridge, living off pickle relish or something. Nuns are watching. Speaker says something like, "Great effect, power outage." Lots of clapping by audience.

...wife sees commercial. "How can you send e-mail when the power is out?"

I confess, this one had gotten past me, along with the ad's creators.

    No worries

Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.

Yeah well I work/ have some friends who got their Marine Bio degree. My fiance is right now going for that degree(her second). She just took Invert, and everyone told us that it is a three time class. She just passed it first time out, during the semester one of the TA's called her a geek.

Not to mention one of our Baby Rats has bumblefoot, which is kinda like a staph infection....She at home right now on the internet trying to find out if staph is a positve or negative bacteria.

It was of course her idea to wait til 2005 to get married, that way it would be easier to figure out how long we have been married, when people ask years from now.

Ever hear of dial-up? Phone lines work with no electricity (OK, they have their own, but you don't need electricity in the house)
