I am not feeling well....

I came to work with a cranky stomach and some nasty rumbling going on. I also have a dull headache. I would love to go home but have too much to do... any suggestions???

The last time I went to work with a cranky stomach, I stayed for an hour, drove home, and threw up all over the inside of my week-old Tacoma on the way.

Go home and troll BF.

Go home. When I worked in HR it used to drive me crazy when sick employees dragged themselves into work out of some misplaced since of loyalty.

This could be the guilty feeling from stealing our trees. Why don't you return them and see if you feel better.

Just threw up in the restroom... I feel so much better. Will probably go home... unfortunately I don't work around other employees - it's just me so I can't spread the "love" around!

if it's a cold or whatever, I will go in because I'd rather spread it to my co-workers than my children and wife. Also, my office is a good deal more restful than my house.

But the stomach flu or food poisoning is serious and I'll stay home.

Last time I went home sick, I had ridden the bike in. Didn't feel well enough to ride home. My cubemate offered a ride. While I waited for him to finish a phone call, I blew chunks right there in the cube. (Luckily I got the waste basket just in time.)

True story.

Perhaps there's some way to get some chrystallized ginger from Von's? Boil that in some water and make tea. Ginger tea made that way makes the tummy feel better.

OK that made me feel sick again... Last Halloween I lead a kiddie mountain bike ride. I gave out "goodie" bags with candy and Watermelon flavored glow in the dark toothpaste. I'm sure the kids loved it but just thinking about that makes me queasy...

Siu good advice about ginger. I use it at home alot. I should keep some at work... yes still here...

I had to get a hotel room last weekend so I could be near a toilet at all times. It was grueling and awful. Hope you feel better, Pam.
