Bypass bess security system

my school has got this horrific firewall internet security thing called Bess. It blocks everything and i cant seem to get by it, folks have tried a PHP proxy and it does work but it does not support searches and things of the like. CGI proxy was tried but it seems Bess sees through it all. Please help the poor students at my highschool and if you have any expertise in this field, donate your knowledge
And please dont just give a link without explanation, im at school now and anything that it thinks has information of how to block it, it calls loophole.

So why aren't you learning something more responsibly productive than how to bypass firewalls?

Is your next class 'Video Games 101' ? or is it 'Intermediate Hacking'?

this is a study hall, the reason im looking for a bypass is becuase it prevents me from doing work. Infact i had a report on the revolutionary war and it blocked a website about strategies!

Public school internet security blows. A while back there was a kid who sent an email to the president saying that he would kill him. The FBI was on the scene within 20min.

Sorry, I think I missed something here. Public school internet security blows because....? You can no longer threaten someone's life anonymously? I guess that means you can no longer do a lot of other things, via the school's internet, anonymously anymore either. You're right, that really does suck!

Try VPNing into another network (maybe you can create one on your home PC and then link there via IP). Then again, BESS may prevent establishing a VPN.

Ask the administration if there is an exception. If there is not, you'll need to adapt your use of the system to the rules the OWNER of the system has established.

ask the admin? hahahhaha, thast not an option, first of all they are snots. And what fun is that? Bess detects CGI proxies, probably becuase it is a proxy itself. Buuuuut php proxies are a different story . It just needs some editing, i htink i got this one under control

I like to do pranks on people. Not threaten their life but small wacky pranks. The internet at school has a web filter of some sort that blocks out alot of pages that I need, but then cant access.

This isnt really hacking, but last year, we had desks with computers on them (Mac G4) and there was this spoiled rich loser that sat across from me. It was so funny I would take my mouse and plug it in his computer and move the mouse around and he gets all confused.

We use Bess where I work. I administer access for our agency. Its wonderful for keeping k-12 kids out of sites they have no busness accessing at school, filtering unmoderated boards, personal web pages and free email. If someone at my agency needs access to a legitimate site, we give it to them, no questions asked.

In short, if you realy dont feel like you can ask someone without looking foolish, save your underfunded school some bandwidth for real work, and save the surfing for home.

(by the way, attempting to repeatedly trying to access the same sites or search terms or trying to guess an override password will alert the admin at your school in a big hurry. just thought you might like to know.)

Kidnap the sys admin...

I personally hate any kind of censorship, for any reason.
Fortunately, my internet connection is wide open.
The only limitation is that port 25 is blocked, so all outgoing email has to pass through my ISP's SMTP proxy.

well for the record i did bypass it. We (the group at school who was dedicated to beating the system) setup a php proxy I downloaded. We tried CGI proxies and it didnt work, probably since BEss itself is a proxy i believe. Smart dog. There are other plans incase the dog gets smarter too but i wont go into that . And no, its nothing violent
