I believe that's the same vintage production company Marilyn Chambers worked for.

for some reason that is way too believable

I have sailed with a few Olympians, most notably Rob Johnston and Charlie Ogletree. Have sailed against (or at least in the same fleet as) Paul Forester. That is as close as I can get you.

I love the Olympics so much. in 96 they did some events like 3 miles from here

My GF bought a Forester last night, but I don't it's named Paul. Is that close enough?

I swam right next to Gunnar Larson in Jr. Olympics in a preliminary heat. I was only a body length behind after 5 yards. (JOs had unseeded heats, save possibly the 1000 or 1650). I also attended the U.S.C. swimming Banquet one year. Bengt Gingsjo was at the same table as me. White as a ghost. At least one and I think 2 of the Furniss brothers were there at the time. Likely a full dozen olympic swimmers or more.

Dang I almost forgot. Jan Romary. First woman to make 6 Olympics. Yes 6 is NOT a typo. She taught fencing at the summer camp I attended and her daughter Lisa was a friend of my sister's.

I meet a lot of the swimmers from the 96 Olympics. Swam against several of them too.

I was in Atlanta in '96 and was riding the road course the day before the men's race. On my hybrid.

The Columbian team came up on me on this hill. I'm huffin' and puffin' and they just swarm around me like bees. Laughing and telling me to "Go Dude" "You kin do eet!"

I told them I was on a recovery ride, just go on without me.

I got drunk on a ferry from England to France with the England Olympic trap and skeet team.

I just remembered, my wife has a cousin that competed in the Olympics. Taekwondo or something like that.

Could you imagine how awesome it would be to stand on that podium as the natinal anthem played
