Lonesome George Died

"The only remaining Pinta Island tortoise and celebrated conservation icon passed away on Sunday, the Galapagos National Park Service said in a statement."

I was going to respond with a Hispanic Joke about the difference between "Atornillar" and "Introducir" but it doesn't translate.

Is it possible this joke bombed while even spoken in Spanish?

It's delicious!

RIP George. I have a weakness for torts. Used to keep a gopher tort as a pet when I was really young.

No because in Spanish "Atornillar" is not equal to "Introducir".... While their equivalents "To Screw" and "Slide it in" can be interchanged, regardless if you have to keep twisting it or not. In Spanish you would "slide" a pin... on a new surface... "screw" requires threads/wrinkles. Meh...
