    Sweet. I've tried pickling my own peppers but I can't seem to keep the crunch I like. If I get them pickled, they're to soft. If they're still crunchy, they taste like raw peppers.

    My family does bread and butter jalapeños. My thing is making dill pickles (i mix in cucumbers, baby squash, and okra) with some heat to them.

    I want to learn how to make fresh dill pickles without garlic... if that's possible. I do make japanese cucumber salad alot which is sortof a fresh pickle... love it. My favorite! No need to can, they don't last that long!

    Lady Pam, doesn't just leaving the garlic out work? And why would you want pickles without garlic for anyway?

    Good to see some one who loves food as much as i do. I make my own hot sauces.i love very hot sauces i use ghost peppers and habs
