I'm watching a series of century old films about a character named Fantômas. They were made in France. So much different than American silents. Most of the scenes are shot outside or in actual trains, not on sets. The cinematography and choice of camera angles is excellent. The actors are not stiff and stylized like American silent actors. There is a feel of naturalness. You feel like you are there a century ago.
Cool stuff. I checked it out from the library.
