Need Some Graphics Ideas for My Boat

OK, I bought a boat, and named her Candide, after the Hero in the book of the same name. I have a pic showing about where the graphic is to be placed.'

It should read the boat's name and home port, stacked one above the other.

    Candide
    Lake Wawasee, IN

Let's see what your creativity can produce.

I got a sailMFG Bandit 19, the one pictured above. I just need a nice graphic to put her name on for the Coast Guard registry.

Food for thought: if you aren't dead by 2050, you and your entire family will be within a few years from starvation. Now that is a cruel gift to leave for your offspring. ;)

    Take your pick

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

Another option ... a bit more edgy

I changed the image to a greyscale image for you and added the necessary eye patch and crossbones.

That's really nice as well, artkansas. I also like it, too.

I am going to go with Allen's though, because I like it's starker look and easier layout, and have always loved grayscale and monochrome for dramatic impact, as well.

Coast Guard registry? Don't you just register it locally with the state? It is not a big enough boat to be a "documented vessel."

Also did it have a name before? If so, don't forget a proper renaming ceremony. You must pay homage to Poseidon with certain uh, libations. http://boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/rename.htm

You should also consider naming the boat "Move Along, there is nothing to...." and then add your home port.

Or you could go for sponsorships and have the boat pay for itself.
