Take that world, nobody is better than Britain

... at sitting down sports.

Horses, rowing boats, sailing boats, bikes, is there nothing that we can't sit on?

If we could get musical chairs in the next Olympics maybe we could start to catch the US and China in the medal table.

Well you do have a queen who's been sitting on the same throne for 60+ years. She must be an inspiration to the commoners.

you would think it would be americans that'd be good at the sitting down sports. I hear they're thinking about adding "electric scooter shopping" next time around.

Still, your body is relatively stationary, which we excel at.

I would beg to differ over that one. I suspect a certain kiwi pair may have something to say about Britain's "superiority" at rowing.

My elderly neighbor is an expert-she has a "Jazzy" that she rams people with when she isn't happy with them. I avoid her. She'd be an Olympic legend. Provided people allow her to live another 4 years.

Man we can even do 2 men in 1 boat sitting down.

Shooting was a bit of an anomaly, we'll have to teach that fella to sit down. To be fair though, he is trained in Dubai, so he's learnt the arab way of shooting, which involves standing up.

There is talk now that John Crapper did not invent the crapper but was the fist to market it.

Guy deserves some credit after what they did to his name for all eternity.

Would this be a bad time for me to mention again how I was a national contender for the 1975 USA olympic muff diving team?
