This is a real book.

Although the title is wrong, they meant to say, handicrafts you can make out of your cat.

Is that meant to be a joke book, like jsharr's suggestion?

It actually makes sense.. It's a little creepy, but makes sense. Those little bastards can shed a ton. I make art from bottle caps and cigarette packs, so I guess why not cat hair.

No. I've thumbed through it at work. It's a how-to book for crafting little cats out of cat fur. It details how to do felting with shed (or fur stuck in the brush), and make that into the right patterns to imitate the cat the fur is from. There are a couple others out there, some with dogs.

I have a special blend of tabby combined with hound, shepherd & beagle, plus some mutt added in for good measure.

I saw a show on Animal Planet where this woman makes things (hats, pillows, etc.) out of pet fur so I guess some people like that stuff.
