Toss that corncob away and get a decent briarwood pipe. A good full bent billiard is a must so you can point at people with the stem as you talk to them.

Good thing about the corn cob pipe is that if you are smoking in the outhouse and there isn't a Sears catalog available you can still wipe.

I just watched "How it's made" for briarwood pipes. Pretty cool. Smoking isn't my thing so I'll just admire from a distance.
