Am betting that the primer comes off when you remove that screw (or screws) and is a pretty low cost part.

    Try a little duct tape.
You can further the brotherhood of man by eliminating class.
You can lift the wage earner up by equalizing earnings.
You can bring about prosperity by overturning the holders of power.
You can strengthen the weak by eating the the strong.
You can help the poor by destroying the rich.

Easily, was hoping you actually had something difficult that would require some creativity.

Everything is fixable, it's just a matter of how bad you want to. If you don't believe me, you should say my garage.

You need to figure out if it is a walbro or zama. The model should be on the carb.

Well I'm now at a checkmate with these 3 stuck screws. No WD-40 on sight... trying 3-in-one but doesn't seem to be helping. Not enough space to use pressure pliers.

Ok... took another screw off to separate the carburetor and used pressure pliers to loosen the screws. All parts are off now. Fuel line was also broken.

At this point I think it should be a good idea to empty the gas tank before continuing with the project.

Yeah, do that over the kitchen table too. No need for ventilation there.
Punctuation is important. It's the difference between "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse" and "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse"

Well.. I replaced the primer and the hoses but it seems there is a leak somewhere. I pump and fuel goes up the line but just as fast it comes back down and lines get filled with air. Gonna have to disassemble the whole thing again and give it a 2nd try.

Replace the primer with an inline siphon pump. That could be interesting.
