Does this mean girl scout cookies are in season too? It's been awhile since I ordered cub scout popcorn, I might just have to do it. I still remember selling the stuff. My parents were always good for a couple of those massive tins with the 4 or so different sections.... that always lasted like a year.

I think I followed the rules on posting something for sale.... How much will you pay me to put one up?

The online sales is good for grandparents, relatives out of town, etc. I know many people want to support scouting, but may not know a scout. 70% of the money stays in scouting at either a Pack or Council level. The money our Cub Scouts raise pays for everything they do, camping, pinewood derby, blue & gold banquet, all their awards and patches, etc. Heck, you can even have the popcorn you order sent to a member of the armed forces.

If you decide to order Cubscout popcorn, Ryan and Pack 262 would appreciate your business! www.pack262richardson.org

Hmm. The scouts came by two weeks ago. Again I asked for "Butter Light" and they didn't have it (I got the variety pack). But it is on the web page...

Maybe the locals don't use trail's-end. I'll check what we have when I get home.

Will do. I'm pretty broke and I just looked at the prices , but if I do order any, it'll be through them.

I meant it in a general sense vs. Boy Scouts selling via email. I'm not hating, your boys are awesome and are worth supporting.

The page either has to be linked to or a link can be emailed out. Ryan will still sell door to door. I was a bit tardy on setting this up for him. Really did it to reach out to relatives out of town, but figured I might as well let Foo have a chance to get some popcorn.

Yes, sadly you did. Prices are expensive on scout popcorn, always have been, probably always will be, but the money does go to a good cause.

Trail's End is hosing you guys.

We sell the same stuff up here in Canada for $20/box ( and it gets shipped from the states).

But yup it is a good cause, and Trail's end is the best popcorn out there.

That is for two boxes by the way, not sure if you caught that. $22 per 18 pack. $44 is for 36 packs.

Okay - that's not so bad. I saw two boxes in the pic, but the page said for 18 bags, which is one box.

Our local scouts are selling "Camp Masters" 24 pack for $26. But they don't have "Butter Light"

I do not support the scouts. The BSA's official policy discriminates against gays, and atheists. That alone wouldn't be bad, but they still get a lot of funding from the US government (unless something has changed in the last couple years), and it is blatantly unconstitutional.

I realize a lot of individual troops don't really discriminate, but I'm not aware of any that actively are trying to change the official policy either.

Scouting for all is a better organization, IMO.

I must say, those scouts make some caramel corn.

The in-laws just flew in from Scranton with a bag they bought from their local scouts and didn't know what to do with. A few handfuls and I am all sugared-up right now.
